Hi Kelly,

I have a personal story with my son, Matt.  He suffered with Bronchitis from the time he was 3-5 years old and was constantly on Antibiotics.  Then at 5, I had him allergy tested, which proved negative for everything, but he was then diagnosed with Asthma.  The inhalers helped when he had an episode, he did take zyrtec then too, but he still had a compromised immune system.  He would get a running nose, and then the cough.  He could fight it for 10 days, but then a fever would win and he was back on antibiotics 2-3 times a year.

 

Matt does have Dyslexia/ADHD, and reading, grammar and spelling issues are really tough for him.  When he turned 14 there was a 2 month period where I couldn't get him well, and he jumped from one illness to another.  Again, he was on constant antibiotics. A good friend is a Masseuse and Acupuncturist. She said we need to start supplementing him.  We started with vitamins that were in the health food stores, and through a nutritionist friend.  He started with a multiple vitamin, Chromium Picolinate to stabilize his metabolism, Blue Green Algae as an Enzyme enhancer, and a B Complex supplement. This coming December it will be 11 YEARS WITHOUT ANTIBIOTICS!!!!!!

 

I switched him to Usana 5 years ago after the recommendation of my doctor, who is a Usana Gold Director.  He had shown me Lyle McWilliams Comparative Guide rating vitamins.  When I looked to see that the ones we were taking were only rated 2.5-3 stars, I decided to try Usana and have been pleased ever since.

 

Now for the ADHD part, or in particular the difference for Matt in school. His test scores went up a grade level in most classes once we started supplementing him.  He went on thru HS and then graduated from college, a year ago May with a degree in Business Administration, and an added emphasis in Marketing.  He is in medical sales.

 

Usana played a BIG part in keeping him healthy and improving his test scores.  He still takes the Health Pak and Bi-Omega, Vit D, Prof C (extra when he starts to get sick) routinely.  Plus Hepasil, and other immune boosting supplements when needed if he is fighting something.  The difference is he can fight a cold/cough and win.

 

Matt has been able to stay off medications for his ADHD, but did take the lowest dose (10mg) of Adderall during the SAT ACT 6 hour testing sessions for college, and occasionally for finals when he was in college. 

 

Usana has also kept me off antibiotics for sinus infection for 11 years too.  I am happy to talk to your further, or answer any other questions.
