Hi Global Energy Team,

I thought you may be interested in how you can help people who have acne problems.  Please read the message below.

Hello Group

What an exceptional weekend of wonderful help from our membership regarding Janice Feurich's teen daughter and her Acne problem.  We can be so proud of the amazing help from so many concerned members.  As we all know Acne has many faces (no pun intended) to cause, just as cure comes in different forms. So "Thanks" to all you amazing members for your help!

One point that was not been raised except when Susan Hurd said "we were determined to heal the cause".  This is a key point when we are talking about "Teen Acne"!  Dr. Ladd McNamara has provided us with the most amazing and successful system using USANA products to attack if you wish to think of it this way, the "CAUSE" of Acne.  Although with his permission his whole system is in my 5th Edition of Your Skin & You, we have posted many times we can attack the cause instead of just the results we see on the face. (unlike other lines that promote only working on the results) If we do not control the over production of DHT that stimulates the sebaceous glands, which in turn produce excessive sebum, you are not doing the full job of control over acne.  Once this enzyme (5-alpha-reductase) levels increase acne is going to happen.  Many of us members that have worked with severe to mild acne and used Palmetto Plus and Dr. McNamara's suggestions have seen amazing results and beautiful skin.  USANA's saw palmetto blocks the over production of DHT and when that is under control so is the acne.  All the information you will need is in his report and balance all that with the wonderful suggestions from our other experts you will only experience a "win-win" situation without damage to the future beautiful Sensé skin they will enjoy.  I do want to add one comment regarding the use of the Night Renewal when acne is a problem.  As much as all of us and boy I am one that finds our N.R. is one amazing product, it really is too rich and not really suggested for acne skin.  Once the acne has been dealt with then the N.R. can lightly be introduced to the routine.  Keep in mind it was developed for women past the teen years with reference to antiaging.  Even with all the known wound healing ingredients it truly is not a good idea while Acne is highly active.

One last comment regarding Murad.  Not only would it not be on my list of suggestions for Acne, but it would not be on my list for any skin care issue.  Dr. Murad still puts Parabens, Phenoxyethanol and several other ingredients in his products I would never like to see anyone put on their face.  This is my personal opinion and not something USANA has commented on.

Have a Sensé-tional Day!
